The Fifth House is the House of fun, sex, and creativity. It maps an attraction to places where creativity is expressed - places of pleasure, entertainment, and amusement, such as the presentation of the fine arts, films, or drama, sports and concerts, recreational areas, hobbies, and leisure. It is associated with children (and the making of children) and maps youth and the school or the ideal place where we return to create without judgment. Saturn is the planet of structure, restriction, contraction, and boundaries. Whether it's romance, children or having fun, you take it seriously.  Depending on other factors in your chart, you may feel unloved and unappreciated. Romances can turn cold. Love affairs are serious, and you may feel emotionally and creatively inhibited. Depending upon the strength and harmony of your Saturn, you can appear to be cold, unloving, and unresponsive. This prevents you from being as popular as you would like to be. You have a desire for others to look up to you. It is difficult for you to relax. Personal interests and hobbies need to serve a practical purpose for you in order for you to enjoy them.

Parenthood may feel like a burdensome responsibility, or the greatest joy of your life - either way, you take it seriously.  You may be too restrictive towards your kids. It may be difficult for you to show your love and appreciation. You need to learn how to express your feelings towards those you love, and not just through the giving of presents and material things. It is important for you to set your perceived problems aside and to learn to project warmth to others.
